When it comes to remodeling, I’ve done a lot of things. Baseboards down stairs was not one of them!
In my mind I thought, “I’ll just bullnose them, maybe miter/dogear the top. That should look… ok…” Nope! Looked terrible! Looked up some pictures online of how it should look (it wasn’t done right before either, so I couldn’t go on that) and discovered that most guys scribe the baseboards around each step. Presto change-o! Looks good now!
